This is for my sister, ~Gem-Inilene . A year and a half ago we agreed to do an art trade with eachother, chose characters to draw, and they never got finished. So, here is my pencil sketch of her character Leo, whom I finally got around to starting while on my breaks at work (once again, pencil sketches at work, but little computer time). So, now is the time to point out all the flaws, tell me what doesn't look right (like his hand is stiff looking) and so forth, maybe I'll be able to fix it :shrug: .

Maybe I'll finish some of the others while sitting around on my breaks. ^^;

Hmm...I'd have to agree with the hand thing... I'd think that if his hand was at that angle he'd be leaning back more.... But as always, still a nice piece of work. ;P :glomp:

Well, I've been playing with the fingers a some, and I think they look a little better now (on the origional pencil sketch). Its supposed to be that he's leaning a little on his hand, but the fingers don't have much in the way of dynamics and perspective. :shrug: (It should be that he's leaning a little to the side, putting a some weight on the hand.)

things that don't look right? his left arm in general is off- like it doesn't look like it's supporting his weight- it looks too short, and it looks too twisted... <: /

I agree with dhqx, his left arm is too short.

His fingers are too short in comparison to the size of his hand, and with some weight on the hand, his fingers should also be a little spread from each other. Otherwise it looks good, I like the pose.
