I figured it has been several months since I updated my journal, so here I shall torment you by another pointless peice of writing. Umm, I got caught up to my comments for the most part. I need to do better about that. My sub ended, so I had to adjust and try to unspoil myself.

I have been doing some stuff with my big story, including a very cute pic that I had started a long time ago, and never finished (still not done, but I'm a lot closer now).

I saw a bunch of awesome artists put up progression deviations recently, you know, the ones where they have examples of work from years ago all the way to recent so you can see their improvement, and I've been feeling like I'm such a procrastinating idiot. There are some pics that I do that are all new, but most of it is from pencil sketches that are much older, so one year blurs into the next. I'd like to do a progression thing myself, but I worry that you won't see my improvement, and I won't know how to classify them by year either because of that. If only I didn't fall behind on things, this kind of thing wouldn't happen.

Besides, it feels like I'm holding back how well I could do cause I don't finish anything and move on to the next learning experience faster. Oh well, maybe I'll put one together anyway (then you might see some terrible stuff from before I joined DA, scary huh.)

Looks like your works in progress list has grown shorter. Cool. And you got caught up with your comments? Wow. I was getting used to you being behind. Hope things go well for you.

Well, you know, I always fall behind, and sometimes when I get caught up I seem to think that I can slack off, and they start building again.

I don't really think the works in progress got much shorter, just that a few pheygrins got done and taken off (but I had removed them on the previous journal already).

Well, it's nice to see you have at least been up to something! You could alway show some progression by putting in pics from before the anime obsession started... now that is really scary, on both our parts!

Yeah, it is where people are concerned. I'd have to find them though, and I think you are the only one with the blackmail worthy first attempt at anime style that I did.

I've been playing with it today, and I'm not sure what to do with it really. I might have to show different progressions. I mean, my animals were on a completely different level than my people when I first started, and then there is all the anime verses more realistic.... And I seemed to hardly ever write dates on my pics too, so I don't know what year most of them are from. I have to guess.

That's my problem too. Fortunately for me I've kept pictures from certain eras in different places, so they're not entirely mixed up. But each "era" looks significantly different than the last, if you ask me.

Mine are all mixed together, sorted by story, not by year. I went through some of them today and tried to figure out at least a year for some of them (and made note of it on the origional pic). The older they are, the more hopeless it is for me to figure out the year. My computer was able to help for some of them, otherwise I'd never have figured out as many as I did. XP On top of all that, my scanner's power cord is fried. Wanna eat it? Its crunchy. So I can not scan anything in to my computer that is not already there. What a pain it is.
